Local Link "This site can’t be reached The connection was reset."

So, this morning my live link stopped working. I’m getting this error in Chrome:

“This site can’t be reached. The connection was reset.”

It’s been working fine for this site until this morning. I upgraded Local and VirtualBox, and I’ve deactivated W3 Total Cache as I heard that was giving issues for someone else.

I’ve attached my log.

Thank you!!

@DawnCreative,

Sorry for the trouble!

Just to clarify, is this happening when you access the Local site only with the Live Link or is it happening even when trying to access the Local site normally?

This only happens when I try to access the live link.

The local site/admin work fine.

Got it!

Have you tried disabling/enabling the Live Link? The Live Link tunnel may’ve expired due to inactivity.

Yes, multiple times

Okay, good.

I apologize for so many questions regarding this, but can you provide a screenshot of the entire error in your browser?

Here you go:

How long do the live links last. Apparently they expire but I can’t find anywhere that says how long they are good before they expire. There are several other threads where people have asked this but gotten no answer. Thanks.

How long does the live link last before it expires and I must send a new one to the client? Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

I reached out to ngrok.io (the tunnel provider for Live Links) and they mentioned that Live Links have a limit of 8 hours. After that, you will need to reset the Live Link.
