Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Updated to 6.5.2.+6204. No change. Looked into the logfiles and saw some error messages about files missing. Wish someone from Support could help…

Hi there, @Musepux

Thank you for your post.

Did any permissions happen to change with files connected to Local? When reviewing your error.log I see a lot of mentions of

An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.

Or is it possible you have something else running on the same socket Local is attempting to use? Have you tried completely closing out of Local and restarting?

Thank you!

Sam
