I’m having the same problem. I have updated VB to the latest version. I have also tried past fixes I’ve gotten on this site. Here is my log file. I’m running High Sierra 10.13.2 on a 2017 MacBook Pro. Please help. I need to do some coding today.

I did this earlier today and again just now. Local is stuck on “Starting Local Machine”
I have also updated to the latest version of Virtual Box.

@clay do you have any other suggestions?
Just a heads up: I split your posts out of VirtualBox failing to install since they aren’t related.
Are you running any type of internet security or using a VPN on your Mac?
@clay I do have a VPN running from time to time in order to access one of my clients’ staging and production sites. The VPN client is called Pulse Secure. I have just quit it and tried starting Local. No luck.
