Roll back one version

How can I roll back to local 6.4.3 from 6.5.2 on macos 10.13.6. This is because local does not work properly any more.

Known problem without solution yet: Service unavailable after update.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
For all except one with WP 5.8.1. All others are higher and Local cannot find the version (permanent 3 points blinking)

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    No!

Replication

Update (or install?) version 6.5.2+6204 on a Mac with macosx 10.13.6 and just try

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    6.5.2+6204 (update button arrgghh)

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra

Now, how can I roll back to version 6.4 (latest) which worked fine?

TOPIC UPDATE
I now rolled back using a timemachine backup of the Application Support Local folder. Local workes now again (v6.4.3). A new test site workes fine. BUT:
All the other sites in the same Local folder DO NOT APPEAR. How can I import / activate / reactivate them again?
(What a nightmare! Will my local love continue?)

Can someone give help?

The import is quite easy. I didn’t find it documented. Just tried:

  1. Zipped a website folder in my Local folder
  2. Removed the unzipped website folder
  3. Dragged the ZIP to local window
  4. Entered account PW for changes
  5. Bingo!
