Sending a Local Wordpress Site to a Production Server

I am trying to share my directory files with my client to send to production and none of my changes or pages I have created are showing up. What I am doing wrong?

How are you trying to share them? Are you sending the files via email? Using FTP? Google Drive? Dropbox? etc.

Pushing code to a repo, but when it is imported content is missing and it is and old version of the site

All content is in the database. Are you doing a database sync/replace?

I believe so. Do I need to have certain export settings from Adminer? The general export function from Local is not working

How do I sync/replace the database? I am trying to walk someone through this remotely everything is correct on my end but when they deploy the code on their end nothing matches up

There are several plugins that can do this.

WP Migrate DB Pro
WP Site Sync

Do I hace to have a plugin to do so? I am trying to do this with limited plugins for security purposes.

You don’t need a plugin, but if your databases are out of sync you will see content differences.

Make sure you have cleared all your caches: browser, server, object, etc.

You can also use a backup and restore plugin like Updraft Plus and remove it after performing the transfer - though I think the one’s mentioned by @afragen would be better for an ongoing sync.
