SSL Firefox Dev Edition Issues

Hello,

Even with the ‘trust’ activated in Local SSL options - Firefox Dev Edition still showing not secure and not allowing me to bypass… https://d.pr/i/pw6M5i

Any ideas?

Oh and I have flushed cache etc.

Hey Evan,

Firefox doesn’t use the system’s keychain for certificates. You will need to add an exception in Firefox.

There should be an “Add Exception…” button at the bottom of the error box. You may need to scroll to see it.

Here are some screenshots I just took with Firefox 58.0.2.

I’m encountering the same issue. If you look at the original screenshot, it says that it won’t allow an exception to be created.

“This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox Developer Edition may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.”

Normally I’ve been able to add an exception but not anymore. It’s Firefox dev edition 59.0b8.

It looks like they might be doing the same thing Chrome is doing with .dev urls? When I changed my host name to a .local address, I can add an exception again. Hopefully that helps!

Changing a .dev address to a .local address worked for me.
