Update available whenever I start Local by Flywheel

Each time I start Local, it shows an alert message that “A new version of Local is available”. I do click on update and even after the update completes, next time when I start Local, it still shows this update notice and downloads around 490MB (every time!). Any idea why? I have Local version 2.0.4 and Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1.

I had the same issue - see here [macOS] Help! Local isn't automatically updating!

that fixed it for me

These paths are not found :frowning: I don’t know where is Local installed. How do I find that?

On my machine it was initially just running from the downloads directory (!) - if you shut it down, use spotlight to find the application file (might be in your downloads directory) then move it into the Applications folder you’ll be all good.

Hey Joel,

You can also download the latest version from the community here and it will update it aswell manually.
