When opening a You Tube link I receive ’ vgnnwhzmkau ’s server IP address could not be found’
My search says it’s a DNS error, The link opens from my computer browser so I do not believe it’s DNS.
Has anyone encountered this?
Thanks

Hey @cary!
Is this a YouTube link you’re clicking on from a locally hosted WordPress application or from your live, hosted version?
The error could be related to a corrupted or malformed link. So you might try double-checking or replacing the URL.
You might also have to try flushing caches such as DNS, server, browser, etc
Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
The link works when I paste it directly to my pc browser.
I also attempted another link and had the same.
The error message references a server, is this a wordpress server or something on local.com?
Thank you
It’s possible the link is trying to load your domain along with the link. Something like http://test-local/youtube.com/
instead of just youtube.com/watch?v=abcdef
. To fix this you’ll want to make sure you’re using the full YouTube link including the protocol so something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abcdef
