Where do I import my sql file to?

Issue Summary

I have always migrated websites by copying compressed files and folders to the new destination and de-compressing, as well as taking a database export to a .sql file then locating PHPMyAdmin on the new server and importing there. Then I update the wp-config.php file. But how - and WHERE? - do I import my SQL file to Local?

This is my first site in Local.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    No! Not without my database!

    The very latest one - I just downloaded the new free Local Pro today.

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    Windows 10 Home 2004 version
