Wp-login / wp-admin error - page can’t be found

I have a WordPress website that I created via localwp, so I have everything locally on the computer.

Yesterday I changed some settings under Settings → General. On that page, I made changes to the “WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL).

The value of these fields before I made any changes was “http://test.local

Now I wanted to change this to “http://test.local/home" for some unclear reason.

But it was when I made this change that everything shut down.

Now I can no longer access wp-admin/wp-login.

I get this text: ” page can’t be found
No webpage was found for the web address
HTTP ERROR 404″

As I said, I have everything stored locally on the computer and I haven’t dared to change anything locally after this. Is there something I can change/delete in the files that will allow me to access the login page again?

Please help me!

Hi @robinwp

Things may have gotten cached and that could be causing your issue. You could try manually changing the URL in the bar to whatever it should be and adding /wp-login.php to get you in. You could also try opening it in a different browser or incognito window to see if it works there.
