After updating Local, I only get a page showing 404 when I connect from outside

Bug Summary

After updating Local, I can no longer access sites from outside

Steps to reproduce

I tried switching from Nginx to Apache or changing PHP, but all I get is a nice 404 error.

  • Uso MacOs Sequoia 15.7.2
  • Nginx or Apache, PHP 8.4.10, MySQL 8.0.35
  • Local Version 9.2.9+6887

Can you give a full uninstall and reinstall a try? Here are the steps:

  • Export any sites that you have on Local and save them to your device: Backup a Local Site

  • Fully uninstall Local following the specific steps for your OS here: Uninstall Local

  • Install the latest version of Local from this page: Local Releases

  • Once installed, please restart the computer.

  • When the computer is restarted and turned on, ensure that any other applications that may be automatically running in the background are closed down.

  • Check and see if the issue still persists. If so, please provide us with an updated log using the instructions found here: Download Local Logs
