Start the installation with all the pertinent database details and click next and receive the error. I’ve disabled all antivirus software on my computer including all windows 10 security features. Deleted site mulitple times and reinstalled to Local with same result. Deleted all wp tables from db each time. Tried all solutions I found doing google searches with no luck.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
Its an open source cms and a new install. I’ve tried to install other cms besides wp in the past and all have failed in one way or another so I’ve decided to abandon Local for everything except for wp. Hopefully in the future Local will find a way to allow non wordpress sites to install successfully. For now I’ll stick with the ever slow Wamp as that seems to install all the non wp cms I’ve tried on Local just fine. Thanks for the reply.
WordPress has been and continues to be our focus, but we’re always listening to our members for future features. I see that we have an older suggestion here for Non-WordPress sites. Not sure if you’ve seen some of the comments here before. Feel free to upvote, and comment, or if you want to create your own new feature request for others to find you can do that as well.
I will go ahead and close this thread for now, but be sure to reach back out if you need any support should you use Local for a WordPress site - also be sure to check out that feature request @Nick-B dropped.
