What issue or error are you experiencing?
Since my most recent Local update, I am unable to pull from either our production or staging environment in WP Engine. I get the error “Uh-oh! We ran into and issue when pulling from WP Engine.” WordPress version on the Overview tab of Local seems permanently stuck in its loading state so I’m not sure if that’s related. Everything was working fine prior to Friday when I updated Local.
What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc
- Connect to WP Engine with our account
- Click the “Pull From WP Engine” icon button
- Initiate a pull from WP Engine (prod or staging, with or without database)
- See error “Uh-oh! We ran into and issue when pulling from WP Engine.” and local site files are not updated but latest pull timestamp is updated.
So far I have tried deleting the local site and starting fresh, re-issuing API credentials, restarting Local and my computer, and updating WP version and plugins on both the prod and staging environments. None of these attempts have had any effect. I am not on a VPN.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
