Loading site with cloud back up to a different computer only for it to show a 404 error

My laptop charger is not working, so I’m trying to get a new one. I have been working on my first clients website and I’ve just restored a cloud back up on my computer so I can keep working on the website whilst I wait for a new charger. Ive used the add-on and it seemed to restored fine from the cloud back up but when I try to open the site to work on it, it comes up with a 404 notice error and I can’t access the wp board or anything.
Can anyone please help? I don’t want to let my first client down.

Hi @Mel7!

Did you walk through the steps on this help article? (Using Cloud Backups with Multiple Machines)

You can also try this if you’re still having trouble:

Hi @Nick-B

I used the Cloud Backup the first option. I’ve just tried again it seems like everything works fine but when I go to open the site dashboard it brings up the 404 error. There are two dots where it says WordPress Version and they keep flashing. I’m not sure what this mean but it’s the only thing different to the original on the other laptop. I don’t really understand about to do it all manually.

Hi @Mel7! Have you had any change in this? Can you provide an updated log here? Retrieving Local’s Log File

Hi Nick,

Still no luck.
Please see log file attached

Thank you

Hi @Mel7!

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local? It looks like from the log it might be having trouble connecting.
