When I updated to version 5.0.6 Local no longer launches at all. I tried redownloading 5.0.6 and it still won’t run. If i reinstall 5.0.5 it opens. What is wrong with 5.0.6? It gives no error messages it just won’t launch at all. I’m on Windows 10.

Do you by chance have a copy of your Local logs? If you can’t get to those, that’s fine 
It might also be worth trying to update to Local 5.0.7, which was just released earlier today. Here’s a link to that:
