Site Importing Error

Can’t find any help for this anywhere, maybe you guys could help.
I put 4 month of work on this site, after my computer crashed 2 weeks ago I could only get back the folders and files Local By Flywheel was using at the time of the crash. You know, those files that were saved on my harddrive.

When I try to import that to a new site it just gives this message:

["Error Importing Site.
Sorry! We couldn’t figure out what to do with the import file provided. Please extract it manually” ]

Have anyone had the same problem and could fix it? Please, Help!

Hey @PaulDeucher –

That error means that Local didn’t know how to handle the import and is usually due to not using a zip of the site.

You should be able to create a zip of the site folder and then drag and drop that onto Local for it to import.
