Hi,
The SSL Certificate is not working.
I click on Trust and the button turns to Trusted, but when I shut down flywheel and reopen the certificate is deactivated 
I’ve tried shutting down the pc, clearing cache, etc but still the SSL won’t work. This is a new install of LBFW.
If anyone could explain what this feature actually does, that would be great. Is the url supposed to change to httpS in WordPress?

Steve, this is an ongoing problem and something that the developers really need to get sorted.
Just because flywheel local is free shouldn’t mean i have to spend hour after hour going round the same issues.
Ive actually started to move all my local dev back to wamp, its nowhere near as slick as flywheel but least it works.
Oh dear, that doesn’t sound good.
What does the Trust button actually do, in terms of functionality? If this function does not work, what impact does that have when I transfer the local site to the live server?
What other issues are you aware of?
As far as I know, there’s an issue in that button that it is marked as “Trusted” when clicked but when you leave the tab and change to “SSL” back again it shows as “Trust”, but the functionality of the button has been applied.

There are some minor problems on Local that appears from system to system… Think about it, Local is a complex product that automates a LOT of things for you. After running into trouble I always looked for solutions or came here for support and found a way around, just like any other product.
Local runs really smooth for me on MacOS and Windows, and gives you a lot of productivity on developing for Wordpress with its tools. If I had problems at any time? Yes, but again, just like any other product, and I always found a solution.

The state of the “Trust” button is addressed in the Local 2.3.0 pre-release. See Releases - Local for more information and for download links.
Clicking the “Trust” button simply disables the red error that you’ll see in browsers such as Chrome when you try accessing your Local site using HTTPS. It does not automatically change the site URL to HTTPS or force HTTPS in any way.
I understand the frustration, but can you please elaborate on the issue(s) you’re running into?

@clay I am in latest version 5.2.1+2165 but I am still seeing notice to trust the SSL after it has been trusted once. Chorme works fine after trust but flywheel app still show notice to head up and trust SSL which it has been already trusted.
