Issue Summary
Cant seem to update the admin email address.
When I was setting up Local, I left the default Email, (mailto:info@diaboliquedesign.com), in the box. I need to change it to my Email.
General Setting Email Address window + User account window:
When I enter the new Email I get:
Email (required) If you change this, an email will be sent at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.
There is a pending change of your email to marquadigitaldesigner@gmail.com
. Cancel”
I have enter it three times. I have been waiting for a few days for the email to be sent to me to confirm.
What am i doing wrong?
PS: Nothing in the SPAM Folder…
The email never arrives…

Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
